The Hansen-Protasi Group is a jazz sextet comprised of four horns, bass and drums. They bring fresh, inspired takes to jazz standards, while keeping the classic energy that people are familiar with. The concept of the group was inspired by such albums as You and Lee from Lee Konitz, and Birth of the Cool from Miles Davis. The result does not disappoint.
