There will be a bluegrass jam preceding this show from 7 - 8:30 PM. Musicians who bring a bluegrass instrument and participate in the jam receive free or discoutned admission to the Midnight Flyer/Jordan & Mark Rast show. Just choose the "Bluegrass Jam Musician" ticket option and set your own price!
Midnight Flyer has been playing traditional bluegrass in and around Philadelphia since 2014. With a new lineup starting in 2023, the band continues to interpret classic bluegrass tunes, old country favorites, and fiddle tunes with the time tested feeling and groove of great string-band music. Well rehearsed vocal performances, side by side with clean, straightforward instrumental picking, give Midnight Flyer’s live shows the energy and soul that no traditional bluegrass fan should have to do without.
Midnight Flyer is Austin Alfano (Guitar), Ben Cocchiaro (Bass/Fiddle), Andy Davis (Banjo), and Matt Hiller (Mandolin/Bass).
Jordan & Mark Rast
Jordan and Mark Rast are a son/father duo from Lancaster, PA specializing in Appalachian and bluegrass music. With years of experience between the two of them, they offer a fresh take on traditional music through innovative songwriting. When you see them live, you'll hear Jordan on lead vocals, fiddle, guitar, and mandolin, and Mark on banjo, dobro, and backing vocals.
